===== Australian 500 Class Diesel Locomotive ===== The Australian 500 Class Diesel Locomotive in DlxTrains is loosely based on the South Australian Railways 500 class diesel-electric shunting locomotive built by the Islington Railway Workshops in the late 1960s. Thirty four of the locomotives were built and many remained in service until the early 1990s. The Australian 500 Class Diesel Locomotive has two driver stands in its cab, one facing forward and the other rearward. Players can select between these "forward" and reverse" facing driver stands as needed assuming that both stands are not concurrently occupied. | Mod name | dlxtrains_diesel_locomotives | | Author | Marnack | | Inventory image | {{:usage:trains:dlxtrains_modpack:dlxtrains_diesel_locomotives:australian_500_class_diesel_locomotive_inv.png|}} | | Screenshot | {{:usage:trains:dlxtrains_modpack:dlxtrains_diesel_locomotives:australian_500_class_diesel_locomotive.png?600|}} | | Track type | default | | Crafting recipe | Yes | | Wagon span | 3.15 m | | Max speed | 20 m/s (72 km/h) | | Cargo inventory size | No | | Passenger seats | No | | Driver stand | Yes | | Animated doors | No | | Animated wheels | No | | Motive power | Yes | | Drops | default:steelblock 2 | | Horn sound | Yes | | Motor sounds | Yes | | Liveries | Yes | | Line number display | No | | Particles | Smoke | | Coupler type(s) | knuckle |
